This website made it SUPER easy for me to file my taxes, which I had previously found to be a long and stressful process.
Very good service and smart from a retired CPA. Like the continuity from year to year. Might have also carried over Schedule C info.
I found this through my credit union offering a discount so it really is a deal compared to others. I've been using the site for 3 yrs now. I actually like their website better than the leading tax site, each page is clear and I did my taxes on the big T site 1st just to compare & missed a credit I found on this one saving me $332. Also even if you have to pay its still cheaper than the $59.99 the other one charges. My only complaint was T automatic offered the suggestion I should pay estimated quarterly taxes & went right to the forms for it with the amounts in the form. On EZ I had to do search for the form and figure out myself what should be paid so I hope they will add a estimated tax feature to their menu and I would stick with them!

I like the actual step by step process,- it is helpful to me, and made the filing of my taxes comprehensible to me. In other years I have had more complex returns and this company worked it out with the dialogue they monitor. The process of creating a new User Name and/or Password, took me forever to figure out. Now I've got it, but I got locked out for the better part of weeks until I did.

Excellent easy and informative quick to answer questions for help !! although when had do past years he had. Missed bc illness, money was asked off credit card for each year of 29.99$ then told they could not do those years so I assume those funds be returned to card since wasn't filed with you but we will continue to use in future years and will check on those funds asked for before it was realized they were three yrs old Thank you ! See you next year!! We're very helpful in claiming unrelieved stimulus checks in November 2022 thanks to provided info many do not know they could still have claimed those checks I have spread word before that time ran out an on your excellent service Bless you 🙂

Would have given 5 Stars except for 2 things. FIRST: a competing company lets customers import previous year’s form, so 1099 DIV info only needs new $$ amount. SECOND: Your company emailed me a discount code which I never could find a place to enter it before I was billed for the regular price. Called the customer service line 2 different days & times. Never received a person to talk with about it. Left a message, haven’t heard back.

Unfortunately, due to IRS regulations, discounts cannot be applied when filing through the Free File Program outside of the offer for a Free Federal return if you qualify. While we support the import of prior-year information from W-2 and 1099-R, we do not have the ability for a 1099 DIV. Our Product Team appreciates your valuable feedback, as it has been taken into account in order to improve our program and provide customers with an EZ filing process.
I have used EZTAX, to prepare my federal tax return for several years now. I am very, very happy with the service I receive. It is a quick process & the correct forms are used. However, I have questions regarding the response dated Mar 29, 2023, "free filing". I am 65 or older, live in PA & only filed a federal tax return. I paid a fee of $31.76, to file my 2022 tax return, my AGI is $73,000 or less. My question: is the "free filing option" only available if I go through the IRS.gov link each year?
