1. Sponsor. The sweepstakes (“Promotion”) is sponsored by ezTaxReturn.com LLC, 111 Town Square Place, Suite 1203, Jersey City, NJ 07310 (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, except for Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Wisconsin, who are 18–25 years old at the time of entry. Employees or compensated affiliates of Sponsor and its parent companies, affiliates, franchisees, sales representatives, distributors, agents, and vendors involved with this Sweepstakes, and the immediate family and household members of all such employees and compensated affiliates, are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Entry Period. The Sweepstakes begins Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s server/computer is the official time-keeping device.
4. How to Enter. During the Promotion Period, either:
(A) Complete the Student AI Survey via the link provided in Sponsor’s email invitation and submit your responses (“Survey Entry”), or
(B) Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): send an email to news@eztaxreturn.com with subject line “Student AI Survey Entry” and include your full name, age, state of residence, and email address (“AMOE Entry”).
Limit one (1) entry per person/email address total, regardless of method. Entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Automated or bulk entries are prohibited. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
5. Prizes & Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”). Three (3) prizes total: one (1) $100 e-gift card, one (1) $75 e-gift card, and one (1) $50 e-gift card (type of gift card at Sponsor’s discretion). Total ARV: $225. No substitution, transfer, or cash redemption permitted, except by Sponsor if a prize becomes unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Any taxes or fees are the sole responsibility of winner.
6. Odds. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner Selection & Notification. Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received on or about Friday, September 12, 2025. Potential winners will be notified via the email address used to enter and must respond within 72 hours with any requested information (e.g., age verification) or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate selected.
8. Verification. Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor may require proof of age and residence, and an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where lawful). Noncompliance or return of any notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification.
9. Publicity. Except where prohibited, participation in this Sweepstakes and acceptance of a prize constitutes entrant’s and winner’s consent that their name, likeness, posts, comments, voice and/or biographical data may be used in any medium for advertising and promotional purposes without limitation and without additional notice, compensation or consent.
10. Privacy. Personal information collected will be used to administer the Promotion and per Sponsor’s Privacy Policy: www.eztaxreturn.com/privacy. Survey responses may be analyzed in aggregate; choosing to opt in to a follow-up interview is voluntary and does not affect chances of winning.
11. General Conditions. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, or as otherwise required by law. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding. Sponsor may disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Official Rules or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
12. Liability & Limitations: If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation disruptions caused by any device, computer, virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, acts of God, factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, or any other cause that corrupts, affects or compromises the administration, security, fairness, integrity, proper conduct or intended play of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that Sponsor deems responsible. In such situations, Sponsor further reserves the right, but shall have no obligation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, and may substitute an appropriate alternate method of prize award selection, including to award the prizes from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time the Sweepstakes was interrupted.
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, including any erroneous appearance of qualification for a prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor due to technical problem or traffic, congestion on the internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
13. Release: By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants waive all right to, and hold Sponsor, Meta, related promotional retail partners and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, service agencies, independent contractors, and the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of any of the above organizations harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Entrants acknowledge that this Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta.
14. Disputes/Governing Law. This Promotion is governed by the laws of the State of Jersey, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved individually, without resort to class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hudson County, NJ. The remedy for any claim shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and in no event shall you be entitled to attorneys’ fees.
15. Winners List. The name of the prize winners may be announced on Sponsor’s social media channels following the end of the Sweepstakes. For the winners list, email news@eztaxreturn.com with subject line “Winners List—Student AI Survey” within 60 days after the Promotion Period ends.
