I have used EZTAXRETURN for a number of years now to file our state and federal returns. They give you the option of having them go through every imaginable "step", or if you want just input what you want. I always choose to go through their detailed method and while it takes time, I am assured every entry needed is taken care of. Ours is a complicated return and to do it from "scratch" would take A LOT longer to do & I'd risk either missing a deduction or making a mistake.

There's few things I dread more than tax time. Not because of the money, but I dread the process. ezTaxReturn has made this very simple and fast. Nothing to mail and fast return feedback in my email box. This isn't free, but honestly I worry about why some companies do things for free. Security seems to be very good, making me get additional authorization codes every time I sign in.

Not perfect but easier than the leading brand. The offer of "free", like with other brands, only applies to the very easiest of returns. As long as you don't expect to qualify for the free service you will be fine. It is "e-z".

Very easy to complete my taxes. I have used EZ Tax Return for over 10 years and have never had any difficulties. They are inexpensive and gives you the option of completing the tax forms on your own or they will guide you through step by step. If anything looks amiss they will let you know and give explanations or guidance on how to fix the problem. I absolutely love ezTaxReturn and refer people whenever I can.

I have used ezTaxReturn for years. I can't speak to how good their service is if you are a billionaire but, for me, an average wage earner, it has been excellent. I wish they could design every website - it has some of the best and clearest instructions of any website I have ever used. You just walk through the instructions and you're done. Yes, I would definitely recommend it to a friend (unless he/she is a billionaire). Nah, I don't have any of those friends.

I have been using ezTaxReturn for several years and have found it very easy to use. This is the first year i have had to pay for my federal return which was surprising, not sure why. I may choose another company next year.

I have been using ezTaxReturn since 2017. My takes have become more and more layered and complicated, but I am able to do them myself easily with this platform. It is secure and walks you through step by step. All I need to do is have all my numbers and information ready and add them in during the process. ezTaxReturn fills out all the proper forms needed and also has a quick and easy Federal and/or State filing option. I was a little disappointed due to having to wait while a Form arrived to get my taxes completed. I contacted ezTaxReturn the end of February. I usually fill out my tax forms myself but wanted to make sure they were totally correct. I am happy my tax return has been excepted at IRS and my return will arrive soon. I must add, when I contacted ezTaxReturn with a question, they always responded. Thank You.

I dread doing my taxes every year, then when I get into the EZ website it's so easy I wonder why I dread it. I've been using it for about five years. I especially like the line comparison I get from the year before so I can compare this year's to last year's return. I always use the step by step process to make sure I don't miss anything. The text boxes that pop up with definitions and further explanations are also very helpful. I also like that i can file both federal and state at the same time. And I can choose where/how I want my refund paid. Everything about the process is simple and easy. It cost me about $45 total to file state and federal.

I used the 'guide me step by step' feature. It’s my 5 year using the app and its been amazing and fast. I got the correct amount every year without having to pay expensive agencies, or them offering me more. Easy to use, even though it seemed TOO easy for a person who is an independent contractor, self business owner. I was also doing this last minute of the extension, had moved and a several other situations. I will just hope the IRS and state entities will find this acceptable. I found everything about the app simple and easy to use. Appreciated the option to be walked through step by step or allowed to proceed on my own. Only reason i am not giving 5 stars is every 10 minutes, although i was answering questions at a steady and reasonable pace, it would say my session had timed out and make me log in again and again. That was extremely frustrating. Other than that I have no complaints and would definitely suggest this app to everyone.

I have used EZTax since 2004. 18 years! Always been happy with convenience and ease of use. However, this year the program timed-out repeatedly during my data entry. I’m talking about an inordinate amount of times. I’m guessing because site was busy. But, when returning to work on the return, I had to answer many previous questions again to get to the current spot in the process. I suggest the program “save” content more often, or smaller divisions are made within each large section in the process. I was frustrated, but will definitely continue with EZTax. Always exactly what I need.

We apologize for the session timeout experience encountered. Below is a list of several items which could cause a session time-out in our program, please read carefully and follow the instructions below to see what best applies to you: Multiple sessions. This happens when you're looking at our program with more than one browser, window or tab at the same time. Even a pop-up window with a PDF or worksheet, for example, would be considered multiple sessions so please be sure you are running only one session. Clear cookies on your computer, then close your browser and re-launch it. Be sure that you are not coming to our site from a bookmark or any type of link that 'takes you back to where you left off'. Type www.eztaxreturn.com in your browser then log into your account. Old versions of browsers can cause this so be sure that you are running current versions of your browsers (any that you use to access our program). This is my 4th year with this company and I'm very pleased! Your program is very efficient however, your procedure is extremely deceptive. Not revealing upfront a charge for your return until after you have invested so much time and effort into it but inviting "Free if you qualify" without indicating if/how to qualify is not how to establish a lasting relationship with your company. A couple years ago I saw an offer on Americu Credit Union's website to save on tax returns so I tried it. Turned out to be the better discount for this site. I have tried other software for taxes. This is by far the easiest. Easy to do and not a ton of things to decide. There have been years when I paid because I had a complicated return but most years it's totally free and I don't have to decide ahead of time. I just start the process and at some point it will tell me if there will be fee or not. The fees are low and consistent. Ours were done in about half an hour. Partly because it auto fills some of the boxes for you. If you have a question there is usually a box with a quick explanation. It's just easy.

Second year I've used this app. Navigates well with many options for self-navigation. Covers all topics/entries well. Needs to get IRS to change name format to include our full name, if desired. Current format dates back to 50's or 60's. Basic price should include interest and dividends of small amounts.

Trust the accounting software and have used it several years but this is the last time. It continually "timed" me out and I had to sign back in and go thru many steps to get back to the spot to complete the statements. This happened at least 7 times! Much too much time spent just clicking thru the steps.
